The policies and guidelines are designed to ensure successful testing for all test participants, and are incorporated by reference into the IHE NA Connectathon 2017 Participant Contract submitted by all participants. These policies and guidelines are to be followed in their entirety.

IHE USA has secured a discounted rate at the new Hilton Cleveland Downtown (connected to the Huntington Convention Center) at the group rate of $149 (plus 16.5 %tax) for all IHE USA participants.

Parking Options
Downtown Cleveland offers a variety of parking options for your convenience during your stay:

  • Guests of the Hilton Cleveland Downtown may self-park overnight for $32 per day
  • Huntington Garage: The closest parking garage to the Cleveland Convention Center and HIMSS Innovation Center. The Huntington Garage is open 6:00 AM – 12:00 AM daily and only accepts cash payments
  • Memorial Garage: The closest overnight parking garage to the Cleveland Convention Center and HIMSS Innovation Center

Taxis & Uber
Taxis and Uber are the most efficient way of getting around Cleveland. Taxi fare normally runs about $25 - $30 (+ gratuity) from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport into the downtown area. Uber rates vary by carrier.

Public Transit
Public transit is available through the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. Visit their website for schedules and routes.

Directions to the Cleveland Convention Center from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
Head toward Interstate 71/Interstate 480/ Ohio 237 N/Cleveland (I-71) and merge on to OH-237 N. Continue onto Berea Fwy. Merge onto I-71 N. Continue onto I-90 E. Take exit 172A for 9th Street E toward I-77 S. Merge onto E 9th Street. Turn left onto St. Clair Avenue NE. The Cleveland Convention Center is located at 1 St. Clair Ave. NE, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.
