The American College of Cardiology or ACC recently published their official position on the need for a standards-based approach to achieve interoperability. The College declared that “methods such as adoption of IHE standards and profiles can increase autopopulation of data emanating from EHR systems and enhance the American Medical Association's key aim of “data liquidity.” Read the full Press Release.
