On behalf of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), we are pleased to provide written comments to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) in response to their October 2018 Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA) Request for Feedback.
Feedback included:
- Details on member experiences with the ISA as a resource within their organization
- The importance of building awareness of ISA as a tool for implementers
- Additional features and functionality to add to the resource to improve its usefulness
- New educational resources to include in the ISA
- IHE profiles to add to the ISA
