IHE International is proud to offer a unique global event connecting health IT stakeholders. The IHE World Summit 2016 brought together key thought leaders on standards, interoperability, information exchange and electronic health records from around the world. The Summit included keynote presentations by Mariann Yeager, CEO of the Sequoia Project and Gerald Cultot, of DG Connect and the European Commission; panel sessions on hot topics in eHealth; and social networking events. The Summit took place June 7-8 at the Beurs van Berlage convention center in the heart of Amsterdam. It was organized in association with eHealth Week 2016. eHealth Week featured an IHE Interoperability Showcase that demonstrated live how IHE supports the emerging world of patient-centered care.
